Nowadays, everybody knows that having a good physical appearance is somehow very important. It is the thing that people first notice therefore greatly affects their first impression towards you. There’s even a saying that first impressions last so no wonder why people are investing so much time and money in making themselves look good. Some do it to look presentable, feel better about themselves and gain confidence while others do it as a way of finding a potential partner. From the content of the media and fashion items like clothes, watches, bags and shoes down to cosmetic products and other stuff like perfumes and many more, we can see how invested people are when it comes to aesthetics. Even the modern technology couldn’t resist this call that’s why they came up with apps which has beauty filters together with editing apps.

For those people who doesn’t want to only look good on the screen, there are also some other methods used to make beauty more permanent. Others went to the gym to achieve a smoking hot bod, some drink medical products for radiant skin, and for those who has an extra cash, they go directly to a licensed plastic surgeon to help them improve their looks.

When it comes to cosmetic surgeries, one of the most popular and top performed cosmetic procedure for many years is the liposuction. To help you better understand this type of beauty surgery, here I have listed its 3 most common types.

  •  Liposuction Fat Removal

This is the typical type of liposuction which aims to reduce fat in a specific body area. It first became popular in 1980 by a board certified cosmetic surgeon. This type of surgery is particularly effective at removing fat in the legs, abdomen, back, arms, face, and neck. It provides more dramatic results than other noninvasive fat reduction procedures, however, it has a longer recovery period which will take up to six weeks and typically costs more than its nonsurgical counterparts.

  • Vaser Liposuction

Vaser liposuction also called Liposelection, is another alternate technology to traditional liposuction. Vaser ultrasonic liposuction is still a process by which fatty deposits are removed from beneath the skin to improve the aesthetics of a particular body part. Optimally, patients who are treated by Vaser liposuction are in good physical condition and are looking for a contouring or body sculpturing as opposed to using liposuction as a way to lose weight. In the case of Vaser lipo, tumescent liquid, or a saline solution mixed with anesthetics, is injected into the body area being treated. Instead of using a cannula and manual movement to break down the fat tissue, or a laser, or water pressure, Vaser lipo uses ultrasound high frequency vibration to break fat cells apart.

  • Liposuction Fat Transfer

The purpose of liposuction fat transfer is to augment or fill in volume-deficient areas. Commonly grafted, or injected, areas include the hands, face (including the lips), depressions in the skin (following liposuction and scarring) and the breast and buttock (for augmentation). Of course, you must have donor sites from which fat can be taken. It is important that you do not have any circulation problems, either from a medical condition or smoking.
